that is what it says with proof of marriage so what exactly is proof of a common law marriage since u dont sign a certificate or agreement?
people do that, cuz they cant afford to get married and are trying to finish school and they live like a married couple so they agreed to be engaged and they can have the same last name

I am asking this question because her parents are against us & they will check the registrar’s office after 30-32 days whether we are coming there to register our marriage under the special marriage act, 1954.
Since there is 30 days notice reqd., hence can we register it now.
Please tell us where should we go in Delhi to get our marriage registered & what are the formalities?
