Is it possiblet to return something to MAC?

I purchased some mascara that I didn’t even open and want to return. The registrar asked for my name and address, but I just realized I don’t think I recieved a receit. Is there any way I can return it? Is that what they take that information for? (I’ve never bought anything from mac before) It was only just yesterday.
