Im in the Construction Management program seeking a bachelors degree. I like construction but i dont feel as though i can make it four years (im just not the studying type). I went to the registrar’s office today and tried to see if my credits i have already taken would transfer into the associates degree in heavy equipment opertation. 21 credits dont transfer. I really want to change my major but im hesitant because i feel like im wasting so much money and time. What are your opinions?

Boondock Barry asked:
Some of my professors take massive amounts of time to post grades. While one of my professors had grades up on the Registrar’s site one day after the final, it’s been about 3 weeks and still no grade is posted for a different class. There is a deadline for posting, but it has passed. Most of the profs just ignore it. Should I email and ask for my grade? A lot of the professors get pissed when you bother them on break….but it is very annoying waiting so long.

cutelilbutterfly712 asked: I put in an app to VU and recieved a letter from the registrar that said “We would like to welcome you to VU! You are now connected and may log on to VU’s web portal” than goes on to say how the portal works and my student username and password. I’m not sure if this is an acceptance letter or not, I thought it would say something like “Congrats! you have been admitted into VU!!”
idkk.

quick3silver asked:
First, let me tell you that this issue is quite complicated. I’m still a student and I used to study BSBA Management in a Government school, but because of my 3 failed grades (Accounting 2, Computer 1 and PE4) I have decided to transfer to a private school with a slightly different course, BSBA Marketing. I just recently found in my new school that they weren’t officialy offering the MKTG course. Due to course availability, I shifted my course to a BS in Information Technology, You can understand the complications, can’t you? Now my issue(s) are: How can that failed grades be removed from the TOR? Can I start a brand new course not crediting the old subjects I took up so records can be refreshed? I’m hoping a kind answer from a registrar or someone who knows how it works. Thank you and take care.

myqa12 asked:
i had a professor from last semester miscalaculated my final grade and posted the C instead of the B on my academic record. i emailed him ASA i found out. surprisingly, in his reply he didn’t talk about any calculation mistake he made, instead he just made bunch of excuses, like “i also looked at overall performance, not just total points so i gave you C”. what a liar! he never said that policy in his class before. i figure out he is too coward to go to registrar’s officie to admit his mistake so he can save his self-esteem. he acutally talked about ethics all over his class, but right now he seems no ehtical at all to me. so what should i do now? should i go to registrar’s office to let staffs there know my situation and prossible confrontatin with this professor or just move on since he is a professor and professors already have privileges over students.

Legend asked: My friend from Bangladesh sent his transcripts to a New York college through EMS but unfortunately there was a small mistake in the address. The real address was supposed to be:
Office of the Registrar
Queens College
65-30 Kissena Blvd
Flushing
NY 11367
But instead he typed the following address:
Office of the Registrar
65-30 Kissena Blvd
Flushing
NY 11367
So the street address was correct but the name “Queens college” was missing. Can he expect that it will reach the college since its thru EMS?
