it is all over the news, like they are the only ones that are evil. I have been working at registrar of voters in my county, and you wouldn’t believe the mix-up at the post offices.
People are not getting their absentee ballots and they are not letting the mail go through, saying there is not enough postage.
By coincidence it seems that the people who are not getting their ballots are about 90% republicans, and guess who works at the post offcie….. loser liberals….Do you hear anything on the news….no…no…no. This to me is complete manipulation….and all they will do is act stupid…like they are.
I also know people who are in unions, and they practically bribe people, and make them feel guilty if they don’t vote democratic.
LIBERALS ARE SUCH LOSERS….. THEY HAVE TO JUST GET THERE WAY, AND MAKE THEMSELVES LOOK SO INNOCENT….WHEN THEY ARE REALLY CONIVING MANIPULATING CREEPS……
Our country is supposed to be a democracy, government is supposed to be honest……for the people…all I can say is…. they are for the evil. It is actually agianst the law what they are doing; but nothing will ever happen. They are just plain loser…criminals…evil…manipulators….who always get what they want…

I am an active duty military member in Dover, DE. I am from Virginia Beach, VA and that is where I have my driver’s license. As a result, that is where I am registered to vote and I have to do so via absentee ballot. The problem is I sent my application off in mid-August and the registrar says it was received on September 3, 2008. I kept checking to see if my ballot was mailed and I finally saw it was mailed on September 29, 2008 (I even called the registrar to ensure it was mailed and she confirmed). I hadn’t received my ballot a week and a half later so I checked the regisrar’s website and it said my ballot was now mailed on October 8th, 2008. When I called the registar to see what happened I was told that my ballot was never mailed on the 29th because the printer was broken.

First, I want to know why there is only one printer for all of the absentee ballots in Virginia. Second, I want to know why they lied when I asked if my ballot was in te mail. Then I called today and they said it has been mailed and it is now “out of their hands.”

Ironically, my wife and I applied on the same day and she received her ballot last week and filled it out already. I would be cool with that if she didn’t have a small hold up. She had to re-apply because her maiden name was still on her driver’s license but somehow she still got her ballot first.

I **** to think about conspiracy theories, but is it possible that Virginia (a traditionally Republican state) does not want me to vote because I am a Democrat? I claimed Democrat on my ballot because I want to participate and Democrat only elections (such as primaries). My wife did not declare partisanship on her ballot. Why won’t VA send my ballot.
Arby…we do have a voting officer to help military people, but they only help us fill out the appropriate paperwork. I have notified the head of the registrar’s office. I also contacted the voter complaint department. I tried to write one of my congressman but I had the wrong e-mail address. I will try again tomorrow.

Also 2004 exit polling for the first time in history did not match the actual results.

I’m not saying Dems are innocent completely, but no where near this kind of blatant trickery. Can the Republican party win an election, without these kind of childish tricks? There’s plenty of conservatives although I disagree with, I could still support them. So am I not biased.
